In Champagne, Jon Catt has news of a not to be missed event this weekend for lovers of sparkling wine. This Saturday the Fête du Crémant will be held in Châtillon-sur-Seine in the Esplanade Du Cours L'Abbé. You can taste the crémant made by 11 local producers. If you buy a souvenir glass 3 tastings are free. Information will be available on the day about cellar visits on the Sunday. There's a food tent where a wine maker's lunch will be served. The event starts at 9.00. For more information visit.
