Gaillac Appellation Controlee
A typical unique Gaillac blend made from the grape varieties of Braucol, Syrah and
Duras grown on the broken limestone and clayey deposits of the Gaillac Coteaux of
the Tarn river. The wine was aged for 12 months in oak. Tasting Notes
Excellent deep red robe with good body. Nose of sweet liquorice and tobacco.
Palate of fresh fruit—berries, raspberries, black currants, delightful after taste
with light tannins. A wine that meets the requirements of today’s market for a
well-balanced, fruit forward, smooth wine with character and style.
An excellent excuse for another trip back to the Gaillac wine region!
