La Conciererie is set in 7 acres of beautiful grounds surrounded by vines and open countryside.
La Conciergerie sleeps 4 in spacious accommodation. Beautifully renovated Conciergerie. A mixture of modern and antique furniture.
Beautiful pool. Ideal for a relaxing holiday in this charming wine growing region.
The property is surrounded by vines and close to all amenities and superb golf courses.
An ideal place to unwind and relax.
Ground floor
Kitchen - there is a large well appointed kitchen with fridge, gas hob and electric cooker and dishwasher.
Sitting room - there is a pretty entrance sitting room furnished with comfortable sofa and easy chairs. There is a log burner in the chimney.
Twin bedroom - with lovely views across the vines and with a glimpse of the Gironde in the distance. This is a pretty room decorated in lilac and white.
Bathroom - with shower, handbasin and wc.
First floor
Double bedroom - with a beautiful French double bed. There is also a bathroom with
shower, hand basin and wc ensuite. This room has a window over looking the entrance
and the patio area.

The house is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday. Close to the Gironde estuary with its
pretty ports and inviting restaurants. The beaches of Merchers and St Georges de Didonne
are only 20 minutes drives away.
This beautiful house in the Charente Maritime region of France is within easy reach of the
A10 motorway and Bordeaux and La Rochelle airports.
The Charente has the second highest
number of sunshine hours in France second only to the Cote d'Azur.

Josette and Rod Cooke are charming and supportive hosts. They have a good knowledge of the
local and regional attractions and are happy to make tour suggestions and arrange contacts.
A comfortable, well-equipped gite with everything in near new condition. Huge farmhouse
style kitchen with new appliances.
Delightful swimming pool. At the door parking.
Certainly one of the handiest gites to a wine area—you are surrounded by vineyards in every
direction and a distillery next door.
A wonderful area for those who want to ramble or cycle through vineyards villages, vineyard
and trees.
A small village that is truly walking distance away, plus larger villages and towns within
10 minutes drive.
Easy access to regional towns and the coast on largely flat roads with light traffic.

Would we recommend this property?
Ideal for wine lovers with heaps of vineyards, wine, pineau, and cognac outlets. Great for
those looking for the Atlantic coast, interesting towns, history and markets. Suitable for
one or two couples, or a couple with two children. Would be difficult to better!
