Sunday: Visit the Bastides : Issegeac market
A visit to Issegeac market offers wonderful local shopping in all its colour both artisanal food and
artisanal gifts, homewares, clothes, jewellery, baskets. Part of the town itself dates back to the middle ages
with buildings from 12th to 16th century lining the streets of the market. Wonderful restaurants are available
in the village and surrounds. Time to explore and discover!

Monday: Wine Adventure Day at Chateau Haut Garrigue
Enjoy a day of wine discovery with Caro Feely Winemaker and certified wine educator on their beautiful vineyard
in Saussignac. We will explore the history of wine, winegrowing, wine types, varietals, geography and how our
region compares to French and international wines, and have some fun tasting different wines from different terroirs.
A wine and food pairing lunch explores the matching of 5 wines. A day of wine discovery including lunch and
two pocket guides.

Tuesday: Historic, picturesque St Emilion Grand Cru Classé Wine Tour
Discover the St Emilion that most tourists miss: remarkable stories, architecture and fabulous wine, discover the
King's Tower or the Church Bell Tower for the incredible views, visit the cloisters and the magnificent underground
caves of a grand cru classé and taste the hallowed 2010 or 2011 vintage of a grand cru classé direct from the barrel.
Visit and taste the wines of two grand cru classé vineyards in St Emilion, visit the village of St Emilion and enjoy
a wonderful 3 course lunch in St Emilion. On this tour you will learn about the great wines of St Emilion and see
the landmark properties.

Wednesday: Cookery Class with a local French Chef
Depending on the day you have the option of joining Stefan, professional and renowned chef of the Table
du Marche for his course followed by a market visit and lunch or joining Dominique, specialist in Dordogne cuisine,
at Domaine de la Queyssie for a half day cookery school where you will prepare a complete meal together then enjoy
it in the evening.

Thursday: The Organic Vineyard Route Walking Tour in Saussignac
A relaxed walking tour that takes you through the vineyards of 2 historic chateaux: Saussignac Castle and Gageac
Castle built around 1200 . The delightful path through vines and forest takes us to Monestier for a gourmet lunch
at the wonderful Relais de Monestier. In the afternoon we stop at Chateau Grinou, an organic winery for a wine
tasting and visit of the winery. We then walk back via a different route to Saussignac.

Friday: The Medoc Grand Cru Classé Wine Tour
For those who want to explore the grand cru classés of the famous left bank a trip up the Medoc is recommended.
We explore the Chateau Road and stop in to see the great wine estates like Latour, Lafite, Mouton and Margaux,
then visit and taste at a Grand Cru Classé estate, have a 3 course lunch in Pauillac and visit and taste at a
second historic and beautiful Grand Cru Classé vineyard and winery.

Saturday: Au revoir / Departure — time to say goodbye
On demand we offer a delicious organic brunch in the tasting room on the departure day and a cleaning service
for accommodation. If you would like this service so you can end your week in style just let us know.
Some of these days can be self guided. For evening meals we can also recommend superb local restaurants including the Lion D'Or that is walking distance.
