Central to the whole Alsace wine region close to other Alsace wine villages especially Riquewihr, Ribeauville, Eguisheim, plus the towns of Colmar & Selestat and Strasbourg city Property The property lived up to our expectations. The building and decor is very Alsace with heaps of antiques and relics of rural life all around. the building is in fact the actual building is an antique built in 1605 - a step back in time. Great off-street parking, delightful grounds with areas to relax and eat outdoors, great swimming pool and barbecues. Ease of Access You can walk to any number of wineries and vineyards within 400 metres. Driving is easy with good roads but care is needed when driving in the villages - narrow roads and cars parked in the street Comments Living in an Alsace wine village is a very real experience which takes you back in time. You have all the modern amenities but an atmosphere that is difficult to re-create.
